This probably doesn't
really belong in this section since I didn't just stumble across it. This is
a column head I was commisioned to reassemble from disentegrated chunks of the
original. I put the pieces literally together with scotch tape until I had a
clear idea of what it looked like. I then glued the pieces together, filled
in the missing areas and made the mold. This was one of the test casts.
Six are currently installed on the Braselton City Town Hall in North Georgia.
The distance from scroll to scroll is about four feet.
